In addition to presenting the scientific results of the MASLAP project, our important aim is to acquaint the public with the research outcomes of the Late Antique villae in the Danube provinces of the Roman Empire or about the archaeological sites suitable for our research.
Until the end of our project, there will be regular on-line lectures or smaller events and conferences. We will inform about the exact content and timing of these on our website and on social media.
We plan to have three online lectures in English in the first half of 2022 as part of the “Constantinople, the Balkans and the West” program series. In addition to the presentation of the MASLAP project, our invited speakers familiar with the topic will present the research results of the sites in Pannonia. We intend to continue this series in the second half of the year and in 2023 as well.
In the summer of 2022, Dr. Dominic Moreau (University of Lille) presents the HAEMUS international research network. The program – which will be combined with the presentation of the Seuso exhibition and research results – is planned to take place at the Institute of Archaeology Research Centre for the Humanities and at the Hungarian National Museum.
